Why should I choose Motorcars LTD?

While there are thousands of automobile repair shops around, not many specialize in Jaguar, MINI-Cooper, Land Rover, BMW and Mercedes Benz vehicles. We know that customers who really appreciate their vehicles also appreciate a specialized service facility like ours.

We are also your number 1 option for British Classic Car Repair and have been since 1972. From Triumph, Austin-Healey and MG to all of the Classic Jaguars and Classic Land Rovers, we  maintain, service or rebuild your British Classic Car for you.

How long have you been in business?

We have been in business Since 1972.

Are you affiliated with Jaguar, MINI, BMW, Mercedes Benz or Land Rover?

No. Motorcars LTD is proudly independent. We have found that we can serve our customers far better by not being tied to corpocracy.

What do you think about the dealer? Why shouldn't I go there?

We have nothing against dealers and even work closely with many of them. However, while their main business is selling cars, ours is repairing them. We can offer parts options that dealers cannot, sometimes saving significant money.

What is your labor rate?

What kind of work do you do?

We do everything mechanical. We do not do paint and body work in house, nor do we do upholstery in house.  We work closely with several body shops and upholstery shops and can help customize your needs with the other shops. What years do you service?

We offer maintenance, service and repair on any year of Jaguar, MINI, Land Rover, BMW, Mercedes Benz or British Classic Car.  We have parts on the shelf for 1960 - present, providing for faster turnarounds in most cases.

What kind of diagnostic systems do you use?

We utilize the latest in vehicle service technology, including specialized diagnostic systems such as Autologic, IDS, and British Jaguar and Land Rover SDD.

Can you fix my other non-British, German cars?

Yes. We know that people appreciate having one place to service all of their vehicles.

What are your hours?

We are open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at our Central location, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at our Midtown location. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Can I get my car back today?

For routine service and with appointment, we can turn most cars around in a few hours. Typical turnaround time for service and repair is 24 hours depending upon the repair requirement and parts availability. We do provide same day diagnosis.

Can you honor "Factory Warranties"?

No. we cannot honor factory warranties. We do perform factory service work that is generally less expensive than the dealer.

Do you honor "Extended Warranties"?

Yes many cars are sold with a non-factory "Extended Warranty" and we work will all major extended warranty companies routinely and easily.

Can you service my car without voiding the factory warranty?

Yes

What kind of warranties do you offer on the service that you perform?

We offer a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty, parts and labor for all parts and services performed in our shops.

Do you offer a pickup and delivery service?

Customer vehicles within certain areas can be picked up or dropped off. Please call the Motorcars LTD store nearest you for details.

Can I buy parts elsewhere and have you install them?

No

Come visit us with your prospect. We will help you make the decision by letting you know how much service work needs to be done before you buy it. We offer a pre-purchase and post-purchase inspection service.
